This term we have been doing statistical investigations. We got into groups of two and had to come up a question around well being at our kura (school) to ask different classes. Here is our slideshow.
I was very impressed with your investigation. I thought this was a great question/topic to investigate and I am glad that you found out that most boys and girls at Karoro School are happy with their body image. This can be an important part of wellbeing. It was interesting to see that more boys than girls wanted to change something about themselves. I wonder why this is?
You did a great job at collecting you data and sorting it into graphs. I appreciated the clear and easy to read graphs in your maths books.
Your next step is to learn how to talk about the mean, median, mode, range, outliers and clusters when looking at data.
